Helping prevent the spread

We started Cleanly this past year as a way to help businesses stay open safely during the pandemic and that continues to be our primary objective. However, through our research we have discovered that as a whole our society has been doing less than the absolute bare minimum of what should be done in regards to disinfection.

Illness costs this country billions

To put this in further context, the cost of poor health to employers is greater than the combined revenues of Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix, EBAY and Adobe. There’s not a CEO or CFO that can placidly accept their business expending the equivalent of almost two-thirds of their health care dollars on lost productivity.

Illness costs this country hundreds of billions of dollars and we can no longer afford to ignore the health of our workforce.

These results demonstrate the need for a more holistic, integrated strategy when it comes to managing health.

American corporations commonly hold that their greatest asset is their workforce. There is a growing body of evidence that investing in a healthy workforce can have profound impact on the bottom line.

School absenteeism due to illness is not fiction. In the United States, there are approximately 164 MILLION lost school days each year among students in kindergarten to grade 12 which averages out to 4.5 sick days per student per year.

The list goes on and on millions of units of bacteria are in our offices, gyms, schools, vehicles and everywhere. It is obvious that as a society we were not doing enough to prevent the spread of illness and disease and we need to be responsible and do more.

Monthly disinfection is necessary

Monthly disinfection is necessary

We firmly believe there is also a thing as too much and we do not recommend full disinfection daily, depending on the traffic and use in the location weekly, bi-weekly or monthly may be enough. However we do recommend once a month as a minimum that is literally only 12 days out of the 365 in a year you are fully disinfecting your home, office, car, or place of business. That leaves 353 you are not.
